Nebraska Attorney General to set up shop at senior centerTell North Platte what you think

Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson will provide a mobile office in North Platte from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at the Senior Center.

Peterson himself will visit the senior center from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Afterward, he will spend time with officials, law enforcement, and students in the area.

Representatives from the consumer protection division and constituent services will be on hand to meet residents interested in submitting concerns to the Attorney General’s office.

Residents will have the opportunity to learn how to protect themselves from identity theft, guard against scams and rid themselves of unwanted calls and junk mail.

The North Platte Senior Center is at 901 East 10th.

From North Platte, the attorney general’s mobile office will move to the Keith County Senior Center in Ogallala on Sept. 14 and the Scottsbluff Senior Center on Sept. 15.
