Football: Kearney too much for North PlatteTell North Platte what you think

North Platte could only hope to slow down Kearney on Friday as the Bearcats defeated the Bulldogs 31-7 at Foster Field on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

The Bulldogs fall to 0-3 on the season. They return home next Friday when they host Omaha Central at Bauer Field.

Kearney (3-0) scored a touchdown in the first quarter and two more in the second to lead 21-0 at halftime. The Bearcats scored their last touchdown in the third quarter and they added a field goal in the fourth.

NPHS was held scoreless until the fourth quarter when Braiden Ruffin threw a touchdown pass to Bryson Krull to put the Dawgs on the scoreboard.
