Johanson said he was originally inspired to go into physical therapy after a back injury. He became certified for personal training and fell in love with the profession.
He holds a training certificate through the American college of Sports Medicine and a fitness nutrition specialist certification through the American Council on Exercise, as well as an Associate of Arts Degree with a pre-emphasis in Exercise Sports Science and Athletic Training.
