The Mandan, N.D. police apprehended a suspected bank robber Thursday, after an all-out search that was announced July 1.

Tyree Carney, 24, was arrested without incident, the FBI said.

Carney is suspected of robbing a bank on June 12 in the little town of Underwood, Iowa.

Previously on March 25, he allegedly hit a bank in Murray, Neb . Last year he is believed to have robbed a bank in Crescent, Iowa on Nov. 15, as well as a bank in Springfield, Neb. on Sept. 23.

The banks are in the same general area, within about 50 miles of each other.

The FBI's greater Omaha bank robbery task force thanked the Omaha Police, Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office in Iowa, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and the Mandan Police Department for their work in the investigation.
