• Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park - Guided tours of house, barn & grounds. Call (308) 535-8035 to make arrangements. 9 a.m.–5 p.m. No charge.

• Lake Maloney Golf Course - Bob Spady Memorial Golf Tournament. Starts 8:30 a.m.

• Lincoln County Historical Museum (2403 N. Buffalo Bill Ave) - Heritage Festival, Entertainment, living history re-enactments, displays, fast draw competition. 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

• The Fox Theater, 301 E 5th St) - movies The Incredibles, 4 p.m. & Men in Black, 7 p.m. $5.

• Downtown North Platte - Honky Tonk BBQ Festival, featuring entertainment, beer garden, VIP area, children’s interactive area & a Chill Zone. 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.

• North Platte High - Final night of the Miss Nebraska pageant. Starts 6:30 p.m. $30.

Sunday, June 11

• Downtown on E. Front St., between N. Chestnut and N. Poplar - Historic Steam Locomotive #844 arrives 4–5 p.m.

• Camp Maranatha (16800 W. Maranatha Road, Maxwell) – Shoot Sporting Clays and skeet 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fees. Food and refreshments available. Eye and ear protection required. Shells available for $8 per box.

• Lincoln County Historical Museum (2403 N. Buffalo Bill Ave.) - Heritage Festival, 2nd day. Entertainment, living history re-enactments, displays, antique tractors, beard contest. Noon–4 p.m.

Monday, June 12

• NebraskaLand National Bank (1400 S. Dewey) ­– Rodeo Queens & petting zoo, 14 state rodeo queens, including Miss Rodeo Nebraska Laramie Schlichtemeier & Miss Teen Rodeo Taylor Fugate. 10–11 a.m.

• River’s Edge Golf Course (1008 W. 18) - NebraskaLand Days Buffalo Bill Rodeo Golf Classic, 1 p.m.

• Sutherland Rodeo Arena - Melvin, Swanson, Halligan Memorial Steer Wrestling, 2:30 p.m.

• 21 Dance Club, Senior Center (900 E. 10th) – Lou Kraus, 7-9:30 p.m. Open to public. Bring finger food, $5.

• VFW (2100 E 4th) - Bingo, 6:45 p.m.

• Wild West Arena (2400 N Buffalo Bill Ave) – Buffalo Bill Rodeo, 8–10 p.m., followed by pavilion party, 10–midnight.

• North Platte Public Library (120 West 4th) - First-person portrayal: “Nebraska’s Winding Road to Statehood: In the Footsteps of a Female Settler.” Noon. No charge. Limited seating.
