We have been asked by a number of people if we have a web page or are on facebook. The answer is yes, a couple of people are working on this. But, anyone can post our dances/schedule to their “friends” on facebook, or send them a schedule.Dances are held from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday nights in the Miller Community Hall. Admission is $5. Children are welcome at no charge through high school graduation age, and they may dance.Bring finger food for lunch at 10 p.m.
Miller is at the junction of U.S. Highway 183 and Nebraska Highway 40.
Please invite someone to ride with you, or tell your friends and everyone else you think would like to dance, or just listen to good music, about the Miller dances.
We have some great dances scheduled for your enjoyment. Remember, all the lessons in the world will do little good if you do not practice; Miller is a great place to practice and have fun with your family and friends.
If anyone or a group would like to sponsor a dance or have a free dance let us know, and we will try working with you to make it happen. It is through these dances, (yes, we have a donation bucket at the door) memorials, donations by our supporters, and our great bands that we are able to keep our dances affordable.
Remember we received donations from Trivant to help support dancers. One of their support items was to encourage youth participation at the dances. Please invite youths to the dances.
Plan on coming to the last dances in May and invite your friends and neighbors. Younger adults and children are always welcome; they are our future dancers.
