The Prairie Arts Center is hosting a series of kids art classes and camps this summer, and great sponsors have allowed us to keep the prices at almost no cost to participants.

A big thank you to Equitable Bank and the Kimmel Foundation for sponsoring the Kids Creative Strike Bowling Pin Art Class.

Students will recreate bowling pins into fun creations by painting, gluing and decorating pins and then entering them into the 4-H Open Class Art Show. This will be many kids first experience in entering and showing their art. The class fee is $5. The class is set for May 27, June 3 and July 17 from 10 a.m.-noon at the arts center.

Also, the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation provided funds for the Summer Kids Art Camp.

Their participation will allow PAC to charge only $10 for each class throughout the summer. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Classes will be different each Wednesday, focusing on new mediums and subjects, and they're fun.

Classes are limited and they fill up fast. Contact PAC to register or sign up on our webpage under classes at www.prairieartscenter.org
