Democrats to hold meetingTell North Platte what you think

The Nebraska Democratic Party and unnamed community leaders will meet with people of the North Platte area at a Town Hall on Friday evening.

The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on April 14 at Wild Bill's Wings & Bowling, 1100 S, Jeffers.

“We invited all of the members of Congress that represent the North Platte area, but none will be in attendance,” said Jacob Denniston, a grassroots Democratic Party organizer. “The people of the state deserve to talk with our Congressional delegation.”

The announcement characterizes the meeting as “a group of activists and constituents meeting with community leaders and talking about the issues that are facing them.”
