Cold weather somewhat curtailed participation in the St. Pat’s Day Parade Saturday on Dewey St., but in Irish fashion, smiles and merriment were plentiful.

A light rain during the night made streets and sidewalks somewhat slick. The temperature was in the upper 20s.

That didn’t stop the parade, including two historical figures who drove out the snakes.
