The Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people on felony drug warrants Wednesday, according to a patrol spokesperson. Lt. Lynn Williams of NSP reported that Joseph Miller and Patricia Carson were arrested at the Cedar Lodge in North Platte. Miller is charged with distribution of cocaine, marijuana, and a synthetic controlled substance. Carson is charged with distribution of marijuana, Williams said. The arrests stemmed from incidents in March and April of 2009. Williams said the pair sold narcotics to an undercover operative. The patrol was alerted to their whereabouts Wednesday. Warrants were secured and the arrests made. Williams said that the pair had narcotics and/or paraphernalia on them when they were picked up. Both were taken to Lincoln County jail and asked for public defenders.
